Sorry everyone it took so long to do a follow up on the Show!

I just wanted to say I could not have asked for a better bunch of people. There were a couple disappointments at the same time there were so many beautiful beautiful things to look at.

The hearts and souls of the everyone that was in the show was definitely there. We all worked hard and pulled things together. Everyone of you should be so proud of yourself.

I am so excited about next years show and hope most of you join in August 23rd, 2009.

I am getting several pictures in still from the event and will be posting them along with Reviews.

I have to develop a new myspace for The Soldier Fash Tribute Concert per my agreement with the Detroit Institute of Arts. We can not mention or have any part of the word Fash Bash in anything we do. Unfortunately the URL has the name in it. I will keep all of you up to date with the new websites and the new myspace.

But please keep checking back here for more information until the final changes have been made. You can also send your email address direct to mariawwade@yahoo.com to get on the mailing list for Soldier and I will email you direct with future information on Tribute shows like this.

Hello everyone, First off I would like to say thank you to Shane for allowing me the opportunity to photograph at the Fash Bash. This was my first fashion show and I will admit it was a bit intimidating. When I first walked in and saw all the photographers I thought "What am I doing here?" But once everything started rolling it a lot easier since everyone was so friendly, easy going and willing to share ideas. It was especially nice to see photographers of all levels at this event and the models were extremely easy to work with.

Hi Everyone, the show went out as a live feed to 1000's of homes in the Metro Detroit Area. At the time it was live the presence of the video did look real time, however because it is a Web broadcast archive it is a bit jittery.

I never got to thank the people who really helped me put this event together, who stayed up with me endless hours and put 100 of hours and effort into the Soldier Event. Not to leave out our Volunteers and Sponsors. I was the only one brought up on Stage the Night of the Soldier Event.

I've been spending quite a bit of time going through the gallery of 1200 photos taken tagging them and arranging them so they can be easier to find and work with. I could use your assistance in determining which photos are the 'cream of the crop'. That can be done by leaving comments with 1-5 star ratings, or as simple as hovering over a selected photo and offering a green Thumbs Up / red Thumbs Down.
